The fountain lights have been on the fritz for much of the summer. The Board has been troubleshooting with the help of homeowners and our vendors to try to get the lights back on in their full capacity. Here is what we have learned:
The fountain was purchased from AquaMaster in 2010. It’s a Crystal Geyer 250v floating fountain with an optional RGBW halogen lighting package. AquaMaster is not making parts for that particular year’s model of fountain or halogen lighting anymore and replacement parts are not available from distributors.
The Board has commissioned a local electrician to consult. The GFI has been replaced. The control panel has been reset. The lights remain off. For the time being, we have adjusted the timer to turn the fountain off at dark to preserve electricity.
We have quotes for replacement lights from AquaMaster. To purchase a LED lighting package with the same color capabilities, it is about $10,000. To purchase a LED lighting package with only white lights, it is about $5,000.
We are exploring other options at this time and will bring that information forward when we know more.
